The tin was originally used in Burgundy for spices. Today, all uses are permitted: a wide variety of fruits and vegetables (peppers, aubergines, dried tomatoes, roasted onions, cauliflower, lemon) can be prepared in this stoneware container, which is perfect for pickling in oil or vinegar and adding aromatic herbs (oregano, savory, basil). Thanks to its excellent seal against light and moisture, it is also ideal for keeping spices dry, storing breakfast cereals or simply ice cubes with your aperitifs.
