Birgitta Schrader

Birgitta Schrader

With understated elegance, Birgitta Schrader reinterprets the traditional dinnerware and thereby meets the diverse demands of international cuisine with subtle beauty.

Made by hand using the casting process from solid-colored Limoges porcelain, the porcelain is glazed on the inside. The outside remains the unglazed biscuit. Carefully polished, the pieces offer an incomparably sensual tactile experience.

The dinnerware set consists of fourteen pieces, produced in ten delicate, carefully coordinated colors. Whether with just a few essential shapes for a minimalist everyday setup puristically reduced or for an opulently set table, everything is possible. The combination options are endless and also offer the opportunity to continually express personal, creative everyday aesthetics.

Birgitta Schrader studied in the ceramics class at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. After her diploma, she worked independently with various materials until she founded her own porcelain workshop in 2010. Since then, she has specialized in Limoges porcelain and its elaborate production technique. Her porcelain is exhibited in gallery and museum exhibitions as well as at trade fairs and renowned arts and crafts markets. We are pleased to present Birgitta Schrader exclusively in Vienna.
